How we help guardians, trustees and other professional fiduciaries
Being in charge of others assets is multi-faceted and meaningful. We are proud to offer services that help professionals work in their clients best interest. Our team has extensive experience working with fiduciaries and a deep understanding of the responsibilities they have.
Over many years of assisting fiduciaries and their clients, we developed specialized insight into their needs and the services we can provide to help meet those needs. These are just a few of the ways we support other professionals in their important work:
• We help professionals establish processes that can be documented and applied consistently across their work to help meet the financial fiduciary standard.
• We help guardians reduce the cost of doing business by offering restricted accounts that qualify for a reduced bond.
Limit your liability with documented, prudent processes
Sound, thoughtful and well-documented processes establish how professionals manage their client’s assets and the reasons why they make those choices. Having prudent processes in place helps you stand up to scrutiny by the courts or other individuals. We can help them develop a comprehensive plan for assets and consistent practices to follow and document that may limit their liability.
Our professional designations — why they matter
Mark Vernick is a CFP® practitioner and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designee. These designations are important because they indicate specialized knowledge and training beyond what other financial professionals may offer. He is trained in multiple areas of financial planning and how to follow a fiduciary process. Mark can explain the components of an Investment Policy Statement and the protections it affords professionals acting as financial fiduciaries. He conducts regular reviews with each client and provides documentation to help demonstrate that prudent processes are being followed in the client's best interest.
